Job description

Project manager

Under the authority of the Principal Director - Professional Services, the Project Manager ensures the coordination and execution of projects from beginning to end. The Project Manager supports Commsoft clients during the implementation, maintenance and upgrade of the ERP system and its solutions.

Main responsibilities

Participates in defining customer service mandates and strategies;
Revises project specifications;
Writes bids and participates in negotiations with clients;
Plans, documents and obtains client approval for the project plan (resources, timelines, budgets, hours of work, etc.);
Directs, coordinates and ensures the execution of activities as per pre-established parameters in collaboration with the director and the team;
Analyzes potential risks and quickly puts in place measures to prevent overruns;
Updates project information and makes sure the needs expressed by the organization and partners are met;
Shares the information with the teams and makes sure everyone follows the project;
Organizes and runs project management meetings;
Manages the budget, timelines and management indicators in collaboration with the business analysis service and communicates with the client;
Acts as a consultant to clients or the team;
Supports clients and the team during the postmortem project analysis and makes sure the observations and recommendations are documented and communicated to management;
Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of processes;

A bachelor’s degree in administration with a specialization in information management and information systems or in project management or in a related field or with a combination of training and relevant experience.
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in project management;
Experience in ERP system project management is a definite asset;
Awareness of the realities of small and medium-sized businesses;
Mastery of MS Office suite and Visio;
Owns a car and has a valid driver’s licence;
Has excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French.
